M20 "The Trifid Nebula"  in the constellation Sagittarius.It is from 2,000-9,000 Ly away Made from 9 x 240 second exposures.  Taken august 12, 2009.

NGC 6992 "The Veil Nebula"  in the constellation Cygnus.  It is located 1,200 - 2,400 Ly away.  It was created by a supernova explosion 5,000 - 8,000 years ago.  This is just a small portion, the nebula spans 6 times the apparent diameter of the moon (3 x 3 degrees). It is made from 5 x 240 second exposures. Taken August 12, 2009.
M 16 "The Eagle Nebula"  in the Constellation Serpens. Located about 7,000 Ly away.  made from 5 x 240 second exposures. Taken August 12, 2009.
M17 "The Swan Nebula" in the constellation Sagittarius. It is located from 5,000 to 6,000 Ly away. made from 5 x 420 second exposure. . Taken August 23, 2009.

NGC 7293 "The Helix Nebula"  in the constellation Aquarius. It is from 700 LYs away. It is about 2.5 LY across.  This image was done without using an H-alpha Filter, so it shows much less detail then you see in other images. Made from 14 x 360 second exposures.  Taken November 8, 2009.

NGC 246 "The Skull Nebula" in the constellation Cetus. It's Distance is unknown. The image is  Made from 17 x 120 second exposures.  Taken November 9, 2009.
